JD hails from Pittsford, Vermont and began his association with Cat Country in 1998 as a receptionist at Cat Country but it wasn’t long before his real talents as a producer surfaced and was kicked up stairs to the production department. JD also has an unbelievable grasp of computers and that has proved to be an extremely valuable asset.

JD is probably most recognized for his compiling and producing the 9-11 tributes songs heard on Cat Country shortly after the tragedy. In fact, his 9-11 tribute productions were heard across all over Vermont and New England, as well as by the country artist themselves.

On top of it all, JD was born with Cerebral Palsy but always comes to work with a positive attitude and a great sense of humor. He is an inspiration to the rest of the staff and all of us at Cat Country are lucky to have him on board. If you’re wondering why he didn’t write his own biography…he’s also humble.

JD does and has done a lot more than an on-air shifts on Sundays, he’s worked in every department at our station over his 10 year career with us except for the sales department.
