Monster Energy’s K-Town Showdown 2 will consist of three events, including two rail jams and a slopestyle, open to both skiers and riders of all ages. With six divisions, there are tons of prizes up for grabs so don’t miss out! 802-773-4181.

Romance Marathon Race and Tour event is happening this Saturday at the Rikert Nordic Center in Ripton. The course will start at the Rikert Nordic Center in Ripton, VT and follow the Catamount Trail and other wilderness trails in the scenic Moosalamoo National Recreation Area. These wilderness trails will be groomed classic style specifically for this event and no skating will be allowed. The Tour Category will ski the 15km loop while racers will have a choice between the 15km (one loop course) or the 25km course (two loop course). Beloved local from East Dorset, Bonnie Kilburn is currently in Boston at Mass general waiting to be transferred to the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville FL for a liver transplant.  The family is going to have to temporarily relocate for up to 2 years and we are raising the money to help with this.  Any donation would be appreciated. Felting Demonstrations at Vermont Fiber Mill & Studio, Located at Maple View Farm, the Vermont Fiber Mill & Studio uses alpaca fiber to create a variety of products from roving to felt to yarn. The 30th annual US Open Snowboarding Championship is the event of the season and one that you don't want to miss!  Whether you are a competitor or a spectator, come take part in the longstanding US Open tradition.
