Bill Cody’s "Classic Country Weekend” digs through country music's classic songs and puts the best of the best in a four hour show. Timeless gems from the likes of Patsy Cline and Marty Robbins, to the classics from Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Loretta Lynn, right up through the 80's with standouts from folks such as Alabama, Oak Ridge Boys, Waylon & Willie and many more. Join Bill every Sunday Night from 6pm to 10pm on Cat Country, for all the great songs you remember and stories that go with them.

Bill is Country Boy, the son of a Kentucky Baptist preacher. Bill's fascination with radio began during his childhood. He hung around local stations so much he was "adopted" by the disc jockeys, who taught him the ropes.
Bill is a father and husband, a lover of books and the great outdoors. Married over twenty years to his high school sweetheart, Rebecca, Bill is the father of three active children, one in elementary school, one high schooler, and one college student.

Most important, he's a Southern boy who's living out his dream. Bill made his way to Nashville via Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky, with stops in Orlando, Florida, and San Antonio, Texas. Then in 1994 he made it to Nashville and WSM, birthplace of the Grand Ole Opry.

In addition to waking up Nashville since 1994, Bill has lent his voice and personality to countless Country shows on radio and TV. As host of Classic Country Weekend, Bill Cody presents the music he loves with authority, authenticity and down home fun. Bill brings to his show his love for life, his hunger for learning, and his love of laughter and music.
