Valentine's Day Movie Ideas

This Valentine's Day weekend will you be playing low key at home with your sweetheart? Roku's survey apparently states that more than half of couples plan on staying in and enjoying a cozy evening at home. If that's what you're doing as well, then there are plenty of Valentine related movies that you can stream. Romantic comedies are the most popular of course and the most searched movie from last year was the ensemble, star loaded "Valentine's Day" from 2010. If you want to browse their recommended choices then, click here!

Some of my favorites (A few from their list actually made mine):

"Casablanca" (1942) This may be the perfect American film and easily one of the greatest films ever made!

"True Romance" (1993) The director of "Top Gun" directs a script by Tarantino (before "Pulp Fiction").

"The Before Trilogy" (1995-2013) Perhaps the most honest and enduring love stories that can easily be one story told in three parts!

"Chungking Express" (1994) One of my favorites and a great gem that people are happily still discovering!

"Wild At Heart" (1990) A wild & crazy yet twisted romance film from the late, great, David Lynch! Need I say more!

"Umbrellas Of Cherbourg" (1964) An unforgettable, colorful and sad operatic (literally every word is sung) French masterpiece!

"Roman Holiday" (1953) Audrey Hepburn was the queen of romance and this romantic comedy masterpiece started her off!

"Moonrise Kingdom" (2012) Perhaps Wes Anderson's finest film children finding love for the first time!

"Amélie" (2001) A whimsical and colorful romantic fantasy that is so much fun to watch with your significant other!

"It Happened One Night" (1934) This masterpiece established the blueprint for modern day romantic comedy!
